Company offers two main services in solar: solar panels itself and back-up power for solar panel systems.
Jeff Polvika and Ryan Wallace merged companies in 2021 to create the best solar company in Texas.
Challenges
After exploring several pre-packaged proposal tools like Solargraf and SolarEdge, our client approached us to create a bespoke software tailored to their unique sales and delivery processes.
The primary challenge was to develop a user-friendly roof design tool integrated within a custom CRM and project management software, crafted from scratch to streamline their operations.
Our Solution
We crafted a custom CRM proposal tool equipped with a project management module and an automated solar panel placement algorithm. This solution significantly accelerated the proposal preparation process for the company’s sales team, doubling their speed and enhancing productivity.

In collaboration with Texas Solar Professionals, we devised a unique proposal process that streamlined project sales into three simple steps.
Roof Design Tool
The pinnacle challenge of this project was crafting a geometrical algorithm that synergizes with external APIs and AI/ML components, automating the optimal placement of solar panels on client roofs. This integration ensured accurate sizing and enhanced sales efficacy. Real size, real sale.
Responsive Design
Our team successfully optimized the platform for mobile screens, expanding its accessibility. As a segment of the project, we also developed distinct apps to facilitate field workers in their operations.
Seal the Deal
Another significant facet of the project was the automated generation of client-facing proposals, agreements, and signature processes, all streamlined to an online format for a hassle-free experience.

List goals and ideas
Firstly, we want to understand why the client needs the software. After that, we collect product ideas and access their technical viability. Those efforts allow us to roughly estimate the project cost.
Create product strategy
Before planning the development process, we help our clients to come up with the software product strategy. It includes the definition of the unique value proposition, monetization possibilities, the ways for users to find the software, and so on.
Design product roadmap
The product strategy transforms into exact software requirements and features to fulfill them.
